Let's Write a Hit with Carrie Day

What if you could write a song in just one hour? In this creative workshop led by Carrie Day, we’ll learn how songs are built, then put those ideas into action as we write an original song together as a group. Kids will explore melody, lyrics, and rhythm while discovering how their ideas can become music. No experience necessary—everyone is welcome. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to create!

This program has a maximum of 20 participants.

Roll the Bones at the Grand Night Market

Roll the Bones at the Grand Night Market

5:30pm-7:30pm

Roll the Bones is an Edmonton rock band making the kind of music you'd hope to stumble across in a dimly lit bar.

The band leans into garage rock, blues, and psychedelic influences without overthinking it. Loud enough when it needs to be, restrained when it counts, and always built around good songs. They've shared stages with Hotel Mira and The Lazys, sold out hometown shows, and are always working on what's next.

The band is currently finishing up a new EP that will be released this summer.

The Grand Night Market is a must-visit evening experience in Edmonton, bringing a lively atmosphere to carefully selected core destinations and neighbourhoods across the city.

Each event features a carefully curated lineup of food trucks, pre-packaged ready-to-eat foods, and a dynamic mix of artisans and makers, from jewelry and apparel to vintage treasures. The Grand Night Markets are perfect for those looking to explore new brands in a fresh and exciting way, all while enjoying great food, music, and fun.

Don't miss out—join us and experience a night out like no other.

Goldtooth at the Grand Night Market

Goldtooth at the Grand Night Market

from 5:30pm-7:30pm

Tiff has nearly 20 years of experience as a professional performer and musician, and nearly 200 years of experience as a werewolf. She’s been playing all of your favorite club bangers as a dueling piano player, she hosted a wild and rowdy piano karaoke show before the plague, she’s a successful singer/songwriter, and has even hosted a burlesque show or two. She’s known for having both a big singing voice and an even bigger personality. Her BFF is a shiny accordion named Goldtooth, and her alter ego is the Party Wolf. One of her most favorite gigs is filling in on the organ at the Edmonton Oilers games at Rogers Place.

The Grand Night Market is a must-visit evening experience in Edmonton, bringing a lively atmosphere to carefully selected core destinations and neighbourhoods across the city.
